Angels Early Learning centre

Centre Overview

Angels Early Learning centre is located at 29 Prospect Street Rosehill. The building is a historical home built in the early 1900’s that has been beautifully restored to keep the character of the home.It was originally owned by one family who left the home in their will to the Saint Vincent De Paul charity. Saint Vincent’s operated the home as a boarding house for young teenagers who we unable to live at home, before the property was converted to a childcare centre in 2001.

Angels Early Learning centre has a warm homely feel with wonderful original period features. High ornate ceilings, polished floor boards and stain glass windows and doors are features in the building. We are divided in to three dedicated rooms catering for each age of children in small classes. There is a large outdoor yard for children to run and play, including a grassed orchard with chickens and a herb, fruit and
vegetable garden area.

The staff employed at Angels Early Learning centre have years of experience offering quality childcare. Many of our staff speak a second language and offer a rich and diverse blend of nationalities and cultures. The staff hold qualifications in first aid, anaphylaxis, special needs, safe food handling and hygiene as well as holding various degrees and diplomas in children’s services.

Angels Early Learning centre caters for all dietary requirements and cultural preferences. We provide vegetarian, halal, gluten free, soy alternatives for lactose intolerance and all dietary needs for the children. Any dietary requirements can be discussed with our qualified cook to provide a menu that suits your child.

Our pre-school program is comprehensive and tailored to your child’s needs. We do daily group observations, monthly learning stories about your child and collect photos and important developmental information about your child. We have an app called Seesaw which we use to send parents photos and information.

The program explores school readiness and covers all developmental areas. The children learn writing and reading skills. They learn skills to develop friendships and adjust to new environments such as big school. The program is aimed to prepare children for the changes of entering primary school and giving them a head start in their education. Our philosophy of learning is an emphasis of learning through play.

We follow the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. Our program is based on encouraging learning through the children’s interests and strengths in small or large groups, or one on one interaction. We encourage family and community input into our program which includes visits from the animal farm, shows, puppet shows, jumping castles, recycle talks, worm farm, police visit, fire engine visit, doctor, nurse or dentist visit and other community visits throughout the year.
