Angel Babies Childcare Centre

0 - 2 Year olds

Centre Overview
Angel Babies Childcare Centre is located at 68 Thomas Street, Parramatta (adjacent to Angel Cottage). Angel Babies is a Cottage home built in 1901that was converted into an early learning centre and has been owned by Angels Childcare since 2006. The centre has polished floors, ornate ceiling and stained glass windows and doors.

Angel Babies Childcare is a small centre catering for 16 children per day. The centre has been very popular because of the small class size and the fact we only cater for babies and children up to the age of 3 years only.

Angel Babies caters for all dietary requirements and cultural preferences. We provide vegetarian, halal, gluten free, soy alternatives for lactose intolerance and all dietary needs for the children. Any dietary requirements can be discussed with our qualified cook to provide a menu that suits your child.

Our philosophy of learning is an emphasis of learning through play. We follow the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. Our program is based on encouraging learning through the children’s interests and strengths in small or large groups, or one on one interaction.

We encourage family and community input into our program which includes visits from the animal farm, shows, puppet shows, jumping castles, recycle talks, worm farm, police visit, fire engine visit, doctor, nurse or dentist visit and other community visits throughout the year. Parents are always welcome to participate in our program.

Angel Babies has been in high demand because of its close proximity to Parramatta CBD and public transport. Angel Babies is a 15 minute walk from Parramatta station and a 5 minute walk from the river cat. It would take approximately 10 minutes to walk to the heart of Parramatta and about a 5 minute walk to Victoria Rd where buses stop at the end of the street.

Will the Family Assistance Office help with my fees?

If you are an Australian resident you are eligible for childcare assistance through childcare rebates. Please contact the Family Assistance to apply for benefits and discuss your eligibility.

Can I start my child in childcare if they are not toilet trained?

Yes. Once your child is ready the staff will discuss with you a toilet training plan. We work together with families to encourage toilet training.

Is the centre well located?

Yes. We are 15 minutes walk from Harris Park station. There is a bus service that stops next to the centre coming from Parramatta or Harris Park station or from Parramatta CBD. We are opposite Rosehill Public School and easily assessable from James Ruse Drive close the M4.

How do I help settle my child?

We encourage families to visit the centre for orientation visits. The times to attend are between 9.30am and 10.30am. There is no charge and we encourage parent s to visit as often as you like prior to leaving your child at the centre. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to get to know the centre and staff, ask questions, chat to the cook about dietary requirements and have some fun.
